Get in touch

We read every message. The fastest way to reach the Solo1099 team is by email.

We aim to reply within two business days. There is no contact form here on purpose — we do not store any personal data on the site, so email is the simplest way to keep things transparent.

What to write about

  • Bugs in the calculators. If a number looks wrong, copy the inputs you used and the result you saw. We will reproduce, fix, and credit the reporter in the changelog (with permission).
  • IRS or SSA updates. If you spot that we are using stale figures (e.g., a new wage base or an updated Rev. Proc.), let us know with the source URL and we will update the same week.
  • Ideas for new calculators or guides. The roadmap on the About page reflects current priorities. If something is missing that you would use, tell us.
  • Press, partnerships, professional collaborations. CPAs, EAs, bookkeepers and tax bloggers — we are open to guest articles and reciprocal links when they fit.

What we cannot help with

Solo1099 cannot give you personalized tax advice over email. We are not a tax preparer and not a registered tax advisor. Specifically, please do not send:

  • Questions about your specific 1040 line items.
  • Requests to review actual returns or receipts.
  • Anything that needs a CPA, an EA, or a tax attorney.

For those, reach out to a licensed professional. If you do not have one, the IRS maintains a free directory of credentialed federal tax preparers you can search by ZIP code.

Privacy

Anything you send us by email is read by the Solo1099 team and used only to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any list, and we do not share your address with third parties. If you want a previously sent message deleted from our archives, just reply asking us to do so.
